TAN CHONG MOTOR HOLDINGS BHD recorded a 55.5% increase in net profit

TAN Chong Motor Holdings Bhd posted a 55.5% surge in its first quater net profit as its core Nissan models gained market share. For the quarter ended March 31, 2010, Tan Chong's net profit rose to RM 64.67 million from RM 41.58 milion in the same quarter last year. Quarterly revenue grew 25.6% to RM 870.37 million from RM 692.89 million in the previous year.
