Late love affair with Tan Chong's sat nav

IT was not love at first sight. We were hardly impressed with the RM 3,500 satellite navigation optional kit that Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd (Tan Chong) recently launched for the Sylphy.
But it was basically our fault. We are so used to Garmin-based systems that we tackled the Tan Chong version the same way. Apparently, it works in a slightly different mode and in fact, it is easier to use than the Garmin.
