Segambut (25th November 2009) – Edaran Tan Chong Motor is proud to announce that the company’s Pre Delivery Inspection and Logistic Operations units (collectively referred to as PDI) in both Segambut and Serendah have been accorded ISO9001:2000 Quality Management System certification in December 2008 and May 2009 respectively.
The certification serves as an acknowledgement that ETCM’s PDI quality management systems conform to internationally recognized standards in the areas of planning and allocation, purchasing, logistic management system and vehicle inspection.

In today’s competitive environment, attracting and retaining customers have become increasingly challenging. One of the ways to address this issue is to provide excellent quality and service standards. Everyone in the organization, whether a frontline personnel or a back office supporting staff plays an important role in giving our customers memorable experiences when they purchase vehicles from us.” said Dato’ Dr Ang Bon Beng during the ISO 9001:2000 certificates presentation ceremony.
Mr. Manfred Lottig, Chief Operating Officer of TUV Rheinland (M) Sdn Bhd presented the ISO certificates to PDI at the certification ceremony held in PDI (Segambut) recently.
The success in achieving these goals was due to the dedication and teamwork of everyone in the company. ISO certification also supports PDI's pursuit of continuous improvement and the on-going commitment to provide its stakeholders with an assurance of quality in fulfilling their requirements especially in the areas of logistic management system and vehicle inspection.
PDI’s main functions are accessories installation, final vehicle inspection and logistics arrangement for all models produced in Tan Chong Motor Assemblies (TCMA).
